The competition was among the students of each section and 18 students participated from each class. Debaters utilized fundamental concepts of debating and justified their arguments with basic logics, worked examples, statistics, quotes and analogies.
Students were well prepared and explained their point of view very well. Students expressed views for and against the notion and their eloquent words impressed the judges and audience. The Interjectors also cross questioned the participants.
The Class IX participants expressed their concern regarding the present generation being socially alone due to overuse of technology while the students speaking against the notion threw light upon the advantages of use of technology.
Class X participants openly threw their arguments related to social cause, caste boundaries, discrimination, unequal treatment under law, equality in education and jobs. The importance of equality and fairness as public value and failure to tackle too was highlighted by the debators and interjectors.
