Students of Class VI-F presented Class Assembly on the personality, 'Mother Teresa'. Mother Teresa was first recognised by the Indian government more than a third of a century earlier, receiving the Padma Shri in 1962 and the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding in 1969. Students expressed about the congregation founded by her and how they manage homes for people dying of HIV/AIDS, leprosy and tuberculosis; soup kitchens; dispensaries and mobile clinics; children's- and family-counselling programmes; orphanages, and schools.
The assembly was highly inspiring.
