Annual Sports Day

"Sports do not build character; they reveal it." \r\nSagar Public School, Saket Nagar celebrated the much-awaited Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and vigor on 18th January, 2025 . The event was an amalgamation of students' enthusiasm, hard work, talents and teacher's vision, perseverance and guidance. It was a celebration of the spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork.\r\nThe day began with the lighting of the ceremonial torch by talented sportpersons of the school. This was followed by an array of impressive displays by the students including a martial arts display showcasing discipline and unity.\r\nA series of exciting track and field events like sprints and relay races were organized, with students displaying their athletic prowess. \r\nThe event concluded with the prize distribution ceremony, where Yamuna house won Linguistic trophy, Narmada House won cultural trophy, Best discipline was won by Kaveri house, the Sports trophy was won by Ganga house, the coveted overall trophy went to Narmada House. The winners were decided on the basis of their year round performance. \r\nOverall, the Sports Day was a memorable event that not only celebrated the achievements of athletes but also instilled a sense of unity and determination in all participants.
