To imbibe the true spirit of learning in students an Inter-House English Quiz Competition was organized in the presence of a joyful and electrifying audience in the school auditorium for Classes VI-VII on April 26, 2023. The quiz tested knowledge of the genre, figures of speech, grammar, vocabulary and eminent authors. The competition was intended to build and hone the thinking and analyzing skills of the students. The Quiz Masters Saavya Awasthi and Gaurang Tulsyan of Class X made the event spectacular with their outstanding quizzing skills. Kaveri House emerged as the Winner of the competition. The HM of Middle School Ms. Deepa Nainan lauded and congratulated the participants on their zeal and efforts and motivated them to carry the same further.

ATL Community Week Celebration

TL SPSSN celebrated community day in continuation with ATL community week. Students from other school branch visited the ATL and were thrilled to make their own robotic cars with mechatronic kits . The students were given exposure for different applications of AI and robotics. Along with this the students had a chance to get hands on workshop for Pro Kit for mechatronics with ATL Mentor Mr. Chandrashekhar who is a 3 D designer at AVM Infotech Delhi. He showed the basic codings and designs to the students.

Education Fair

The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle.” Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar organized a "Career Fair" for the students of Classes IX-XII of Saket Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Rohit Nagar and Katara Extension Branches in school premises on April 28, 2023. The event was intended to provide career guidance to the students by the resource persons from top Indian and international universities. An engaging and interactive session was conducted by Mr. Dheeraj Sharma, an aptitude trainer and motivational speaker. Students were informed about contemporary and new age career options available after standard XII, skill based careers, and tips and tricks to crack competitive exams like CUET, SAT, CLAT, NDA, UCEED, JEE etc. They also learnt about 21st century skills required to excel in professional life. Students also had one-on-one interaction with the representatives from various renowned universities and got to know about the admission criteria over there. Overall, the event had been a great success in guiding the students about the right career choices available for them as per their capacities.

Introductory PTM of academic session 2023-24, for Classes Nursery-XII,

Introductory PTM of academic session 2023-24, for Classes Nursery-XII, was conducted at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on Friday, April 21, 2023, with a goal of bringing parents and teachers together to identify a student's strengths and weaknesses, develop a plan of action to strengthen those weaknesses, identify any potential amplifying or impediments to the student's learning, and become a united support system to help the student become their best academic self. Teachers discussed with the parents the ways by which they can help their wards to excel in various scholastic and co-scholastic activities. Parents interacted with the Counsellor and activity teachers in the quadrangle. Parents largely appreciated the efforts of the teachers and expressed their satisfaction.

The Annual Exhibition - "Spectrum 2023"

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, Bhopal conducted its annual exhibition, "Spectrum 2023" on April 15, 2023. The event showcases students' talent for creativity and innovation. Spectrum focuses on promoting experiential learning, research skills, collaborative learning and team work. Students from Class VI to Class X participated in it. Students prepared projects and presentations on all subjects including computer and ATL. The elite panel of judges consisted of eminent subject experts and also senior students of class XII. The theme for presentation ranged from G20, Go Green to art integration in subjects. Students showcased projects on sustainable development, innovative working models on poly house farming, energy conservation devices, solar power projects, garbage treatment plant for non bio degradable materials. There were beautiful displays in languages on musical instruments, poems, non fictional writing and audio visual newspaper. The students enthusiastically presented their work and expertly answered the questions posed by judges. The event provided an excellent opportunity application and skill based learning.

An Aspire Talk with International Photographer Mr. Vicky Roy was organised for the students @ SPS SN.

An Aspire session was conducted for the students in Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar with internationally renowned photographer Mr. Vicky Roy on April 08, 2023. He shared with the students his extraordinary journey from humble beginning to worldwide fame. He also shared with that how he gives back to the society through photography. He works with various NGOs, meets different people and shared their stories with the world. He gave a glimpse into the world of photography, how a photographer should have a unique perspective of the world. The general session was followed by a workshop on photography in which children were taught finer points of photography. The session was well appreciated by one and all.

Wall Magazine Activity

A Wall Magazine Activity was conducted on April 05, 2023 for the students of Classes III- V of SPS, SN, in their respective classrooms. Activity was conducted for the promotion of self creativity and artistic excellence of students. Students along with their respective class teachers displayed the wall magazines

National Educational tour for the students of Class XI, 2022-23

Travel makes you realize that no matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn. National Educational tour for the students of Class XI, 2022-23 was organized @ Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar. Students visited Ahmedabad city and – Statue of Unity- Vadodara. Students visited many places in Ahmedabad on day one including Science City, ISKON temple and Kankariya lake. On the day two students visited historical monument "Rani ki Vav". They felt enriched after knowing the history behind it. Akshardham Temple was a great spiritual experience for the students. The Light and sound show at the temple premises added to this wonderful experience. On the day three students visited Kamati Bagh, Gandhi Ashram and proceeded towards Kavadiya Vadodara. The weather was pleasant and beautiful.Students visited Statue of Unity where they saw the world's tallest statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Later they also had an experience to know the maratha royalty by visiting Lakshmi Villace Palace (Vadodara) built by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. Overall, the trip ended with beautiful lifelong memories which students and teachers will cherish forever.

Bagless Day @SPS-SN

True education does not happen only at a desk, but rather engaging in everyday living-hands and also exploring in active relationship with life ” Bagless day was conducted for the students of classes III-V in Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar where all the children participated enthusiastically in various activities like collage making, clay moulding, mask making. They also attended a special Life skill session on communication skill. Few sports stations were made, were they actively participated and enjoyed various sports activities. Cultural program was organized at the end of the day where an instrumental program was performed by students. The program culminated with musical dance drama on holi celebration. The bagless day was filled with adventures, laughter and memories and taught the important lesson to the children that the future belongs to those who learn more skills and combine them in a creative way.

Graduation ceremony of Preprimary students

Graduation ceremony of Preprimary students, The Alpha Welcome Ceremony was conducted at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on March 03, 2023. Talents and skills are the crops that are nurtured, groomed and given all the possible opportunities to grow and bloom. Graduation Day is a harvest of this crop. The students of class KGII participated actively and hosted the programme with confidence. They mesmerized the audience with their scintillating performances. Dr. Shikha Malik, the Professor and Head of the Paediatrics Department at AIIMS, Bhopal was the esteemed Chief Guest of the ceremony. She enlightened the audience with her wonderful thoughts. The parents were overjoyed to watch their little angels in graduation attire. The program was well organized and appreciated by the audience

National level in National Children's Science Congress

Very Happy to share that Science project made by Giriraj Taunk, Class VII @ Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar is selected for National level in National Children's Science Congress after winning first position in VI-VIII group. Inter School Micro Mini Football Fiesta 2022 @ SPS SN.

"Winning is not everything, but making the effort to win is."-Vince Lombardi Interschool Micromini Football Fiesta 2022 was organized by Sagar Public school Saket Nagar from December 20, 2022 to December 21, 2022. A total of 14 boys teams and 08 girls teams participated in the competition. Sagar Public School Saket Nagar Girl's Team was the winner with The Sanskar Valley School as the runner up. In the boys Category, Winner was Army Public School whereas Runner up was Sagar Public School Saket Nagar. The honorable guest for opening ceremony Ms. Kanchan Patel, National Player of Football and Netball, National and International player of Blindball, encouraged the players with her gracious presence.

SGFI State Judo Championship

Annual Function 2022-23 - "Virtuous Assets"

Amidst glittering lights and a myriad of hues, the 20th Annual Function of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar was held on November 19, 2022, with the theme "Virtuous Assets." The students showcased performances venerating the seven virtues of life - faith, hope, prudence, charity, courage, justice, and temperance. The annual function was embellished as a provenance of cultural and artistic renditions. Virtuous dramas, exhilarating dances, and harmonious music amplified the joy of the occasion. Mr. Srijan Pal Singh, a renowned author, public speaker, education innovator and social entrepreneur graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his speech he urged the students to develop a love of reading and to take ownership of their lives with responsibility, right attitude, determination, inquisitiveness and passion without fear of failure. The Chairman's speech enlightened everyone in attendance. The annual report was presented by the Vice Principal Ms. Shraddha Kanungo. The program stood accomplished seeking the embrace of the virtues in each individual. The cogency of the event was remarkably directed through the cherished admiration of the dignitaries and the galore of spectators.

Junior Annual Function, 2022 "Expressing Exuberance"

The Sagarites of pre primary and primary were all set to teleport the audience into their dream world through their mesmerizing dances and skits on the first day of the Annual Function entitled “Expressing Exuberance”. The creative ideas of depiction had enabled the students to visualize a world without its physical limits and we all know that imagination is the beginning of creation. The sagarites of lower primary through their presentations depicted that through the qualities of intellect, wit and politeness, one can excel in life. Students took the audience on a remarkable journey to the enchanting and mysterious Arabian kingdom. In the program “Majestic Master” the central idea was to awaken the inherent goodness of our inner self, uplifting the self, thereby illuminating the world. The program concluded with the power pack presentation with loud and clear message that determination is nothing without dedication and hard work.

"The gift of blood is a gift to someone's life".

Raising awareness of blood donation is the need of the hour and keeping that in mind students of Class VII A held an assembly on October 21, 2022. The informative presentation of the skit "Someone Special" highlighted essential facts related to blood donation, types of blood group, minimum age of blood donation for both the donors and the recipients. The assembly concluded with the Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma motivating students to spread the word on the benefits of blood donation for the society at large.

Sagarites of Class II C, presented morning assembly on the topic - “Mistakes are the proof that you are trying”

When you make a mistake, there are only three things you should ever do about it - admit it, learn from it and don’t repeat it. Inspired by this quote , Sagarites of Class II C, presented a well coordinated assembly on the topic - “Mistakes are the proof that you are trying” on September 24, 2022 The objective of the assembly was “It’s not the mistakes that matters, its how you deal with it, what you learn from it and how you apply that lesson to your life.” Students depicted a real life classroom act, which turned out so good that has made difference in their life too. The presentation comprised of - thought of the day, Quiz, News headlines, Musical and dance performance. The platform which was provided to young minds, boosted their confidence towards public speaking and imbibed a feeling of team spirit in their nascent minds.

The students of Class II B presented morning assembly on the topic "BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU WILL"

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. The students of Class II B presented morning assembly on the topic "BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU WILL" on September 23, 2022. A skit depicting if a person believes in himself and his abilities he /she can achieve success in his/her life. The students performed a mesmerizing dance and song. The objective of the assembly was to develop confidence and faith in them and their abilities by accepting their failures and keeping positive attitude.

"A stitch in time saves nine" Addressing to your needs based on their priorities, could help you become successful in future and save you from landing into bigger problems. Students of Narmada House ( Class V), presented a morning assembly on the topic " A stitch in time saves nine", on September 21,2022. A skit depicting how a merchant who pays no heed to his immediate need ,faces problems in the near future. The objective of the assembly was to develop the sense of alertness and the ability to pay attention to even seemingly less important things in our life which later on turns into bigger troubles.

GRANDPARENTS' DAY CELEBRATION @ SPS-SN

Grandparents are a little bit parents, a little bit teachers and a little bit best friends. Celebrating 'Grandparents Day' gives an opportunity to treasure the wonderful bond, honour the grandparents for the sacrifices they make for their family and to spend quality time together. Grandparents Day was celebrated at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on September 14, 2022. The students presented wonderful dances, skit and a song especially composed for the day that gave a feeling to the grandparents of being loved and wanted. Many exciting games were conducted which gave life to the celebration. The celebration of Grandparents Day was a heart touching experience for everyone.

Indian Classical Dance Competition was organized @ SPS SN.

Indian culture is considered very rich and varied. It includes performing arts of various Indian classical dance forms as well. These dance forms help us ease tension and stress, improve mood and promote relaxation. It is also a mode of expression of inner feelings , helping to develop self belief and self confidence. Indian Classical Dance Competition was organized in Sagar Public School Saket Nagar on September 09, 2022, Wednesday. Children gave a vibrant and enthralling performance in Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance forms. They showcased Ganesh Vandana, Bhajan, Thumari, Tarana and Tillana.

An "English Poem Recitation" competition was conducted @ SPS SN.

"POETRY IS THE RHYTHMICAL CREATION OF BEAUTY IN WORDS."
With the above thought, Sagarites of Class I and II participated in the "English Poem Recitation Competition" conducted on September 07, 2022. The children were well prepared with properties and charts. The judges were impressed seeing the enthusiasm, preparedness and confidence of the students. The participants presented their poems well with correct pronunciation and gestures. The messages delivered through the poems were loud and clear.

An "E-Designing Competition" was held for students of Clssses III - V @ SPS SN.

The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless. Believing in the same idea, an "E-Designing Competition" was held for students of Clssses III - V at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on September 07, 2022. The students used technology to give wings to their creativity and made beautiful e-cards, animated stories, fantasy lands etc. It was a thrilling experience observing them.

Teachers Day 2022 celebration @ SPS SN.

It is rightly said that "Teachers' are the pillars of strength and the guiding force in the students life". Teachers' Day is celebrated to mark the birth of our first Vice President, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. At Sagar Public School Saket Nagar, on September 05, 2022, Monday, students celebrated Teachers' day with lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The students performed various programs to show their gratitude towards the teachers. To bring more joy and fun , lot of activities were also conducted for the teachers . Overall the program was a great success and everyone enjoyed to the fullest.

Monsoon activities - "Fireless Cooking" and "Wind Chime Making" were organized for Class I-ll on September 01, 2022. The aim of the activity was to provide a platform for students to showcase their talent and explore new areas of interest. It was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without fire. The students prepared healthy "Corn Chaat". Children also learnt to prepare wind chimes on which they wrote things used in rainy season and do's and dont's to be followed during rainy season. Children thoroughly enjoyed all the activities and performed with full zeal and enthusiasm.

National Sports Day celebration 2022 @ SPS SN.

"Winners never quit and quitters never win. Sports do not build character. They reveal it" In recognition of the importance of sports in one’s life, the students and teachers of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar celebrated "National Sports Day" to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand on August 29, 2022. The Sports department organised a short programme during morning assembly to mark the occasion. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma, Respected Shri K K Dubey Sir, HOD Sports Mr. Surajbhan along with other sports teachers paid floral tributes to Major Dhyan Chand. Class XI and XII students presented a "Nukkad Natak" highlighting the importance of sports and physical fitness. On this occasion the sports department launched an ambitious year long fitness programme for students and teachers. A friendly basketball match between students and teachers was also organized as a part of the celebration.

Students of Class KG II B celebrated "Ganesha Chaturthi" @ SPS SN.

To seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the students of Class KG II B presented the morning assembly on August 29, 2022 on the topic "Ganesh Chaturthi." The students explained about the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi. An interesting skit and scintillating invocation dance was performed by the children.
