I am Mrs.Suruchi Gupta. My daughter Anushree Gupta is in class 7th ( Sagar Public
School,Saket Nagar )We are greatly appreciating to all Respected Teachers & SPS
Team for their extra pain & efforts they are giving in online classes &
conducting online Exams......, For last 9 years we are getting 24 X 7 & 365 days
support & encouragement by Teachers..In-spite of having doubt classes of every
subject, Teachers are clearing the doubts early in the morning & till late night
on their personal watsapp also.
In this period of Pandemic the Sagarites didn't waste the time as the Online
Classes were started timely without any delay. All the classes are taking place
according to the schedule i.e. activity as well as academic classes. Students
have been in their homes from last 5-6 months but still their energy,
motivation, dedication, curiosity and zeal has not ended. Due to the spread of
Covid-19 and our school, students are able to experience the online classes and
online exams i.e. mainly technology and are to be made prepare for the later
life filled with technologies.
At last I would like to conclude that I am very lucky to be the part of the SPS
family.

This is with concern of my ward Atharv Moghe of class VIII F. The school has
taken a very beneficial initiative for continuation of students academic
progress irrespective of the global pandemic situation. The processing of school
with online teaching, regular assessing of students, teachers concern for very
particulars of each and every student, along with the regular interactions with
parents had made it seem no less than regular schooling of the child.
Actually, my son has improved his performance a lot as compared to previous
year. Being at home and watching teachers working tooth and nail, after each and
every student particularly, had made me visualize the standards of teaching of
SPS. I can actually see the class teacher Mrs. RekhaPatidar madam confirming the
submissions of the various assignments, classworks, homeworks and their
maintenance being done routinely without any mishap. My son has improved his
grades a lot via online learning. Along with this , the online yoga and sports
classes have left no feeling of missing school except physically that the
imprint of the school still revives the memories of school, friends and teachers
altogether.
I whole heartedly appreciate the efforts school has made to make this online
learning successful. I believe students are all the more getting benefited from
this than regular schooling. There had been a great improvement in my child's
grounds which had been difficult to observe until last year. We hope the
pandemic is off soon and our children who had been missing their school a lot
would be able to open up there and continue with you teachers as well as their
friends.

At the outset, I would like to extend my heartiest
congratulations to Sagar Public School Saket Nagar for entering into its 20th
successful glorious years. In my long association of 15 years as a parent,
starting with my first son who is an alumnus from the Batch of ‘17 (currently
pursuing BTech in Computer Science and Engineering), to my second son who is in
class 8th.
I've seen the teachers working so hard along with each and every student under
the able guidance and steering force of learned and experienced principals Dr.
JaishreeKanwar and Dr. Pankaj Sharma ma’am. The decisions taken by the
management of the school are so meticulously planned for the all-round
development of the children be it in social, cultural, moral, or holistic
development.
As a parent, I have rarely missed out on any seminar, orientation, or any
lectures meant for the parents at school. Today I don't shy away in confessing
that all these activities have always been helpful in raising and understanding
my children more efficiently, be it in social life or in academics.
The world as we know in this pandemic has changed in the blink of an eye.
Schools closed overnight, students liberated from schools confined to their
homes and as parents, we had to grapple with children keeping them busy and
productive at home. Again the school kept at par with excellence in teaching
skills and proficient at planning and teaching in the traditional classroom,
came up with an Online teaching platform taking up this new challenge with its
horns. Within a fortnight after the initial grappling with data speed, technical
issues, etc.. Finally, they succeeded in running online classes for the last 4
months along with online extra activities also.
My observations and feedback about the online class methodology -
- This helps me in understanding my ward’s concentration level during the
class.
- I'm able to see how my ward is responding to a certain situation and
while questions posed to him.
- Now he is able to answer questions confidently without getting conscious
of being bullied or singled out in the class when unable to answer
certain questions.
- Submission of assignments, classwork, homework, and activity-based
learning is quite appreciable.
- MCQ online unit test of 30 marks was quite appreciable and this time
would request the school to take subjective exams inTerm 1 keeping the
typing speed of children in mind.
- Last but not the least, the computer class should be adjusted anywhere
between the school timings since after 3 p.m. it becomes impossible to
attend the same as my ward takes other activities scheduled between 4 to
6 p.m daily.
I appreciate all the efforts and steps taken by the school management in the
smooth running of online classes and confident that they will come up with a
concrete assessment and marking scheme of students.
Ending on a positive note that this time too shall pass and we all will emerge
stronger and sharper as the school will reopen whenever the situation is
conducive to do so. Until then praying Almighty to keep us all safe and healthy.
