Career counseling is the process of guiding students on the path to self-discovery and self-realization. We, at SPS-SN, work patiently with the students, support them in weeding out self doubts, and make concrete decisions based on their interests.
"Aspire" sessions are organized across all branches wherein, we invite resource persons from different areas of specialization, and alumni students volunteerily conduct sessions for their juniors.
Individual career guidance sessions are also conducted by in-house subject experts.

An Invigorating ASPIRE Session was organized for the students of Classes IX and XI, by Dr. Rajesh Saxena, former Senior Principal Scientist at MPCST (Department of Science and Technology) in Madhya Pradesh, July 31, 2024.
An invigorating ASPIRE session was organized on July 31, 2024 for the students of Classes IX and XI. Dr. Rajesh Saxena, former Senior Principal Scientist at MPCST (Department of Science and Technology) in Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, addressed the gathering.
Dr. Saxena passionately emphasized the importance of medicinal plants and their benefits for both humans and the ecosystem. He also provided valuable insights into the various soil types found in the region and their impact on fertility of soil. He also briefly explained about the pictures taken by a satellite and the technology behind it. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma warmly welcomed Dr. Saxena by presenting him a sapling. During the open house, students engaged in meaningful conversations with Dr. Saxena, asking a diverse range of questions.

“Youth Ideathon Skill development workshop was organized @ATL SPSSN as an ASPIRE activity on August 08, 2024.”
Skill development was organised at SPSSN, today 8th August, Thursday , for the students of class VI, VII, VIII, IX and X. The resource person was Mr. Rakesh Kumar Pandey is the Founder of Anaahatas Wellness Private Limited . Rakesh has a Post Graduate Degree in Materials Management also a MBA in Hospital Healthcare Management from , He also has completed Certificate in Operations Management from Bangalore. In the Field of Exercise Science, has completed specialization in the Science of Exercise from the University of Boulder, Colorado and Specialization in Anatomy from the University of Michigan.
The students learned about the procedure of innovative ideas and their registration in competitions.

Naman Deshmukh, a renowned content creator and recipient of the National Creators Award 2024, presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Naman's address emphasized the importance of hard work and passion discovery among students. He also provided guidance on responsible social media usage and navigating online content. Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma warmly welcomed Naman and honoured him with a memento during the event. The engaging session left attendees inspired and informed about the digital landscape.

“An ASPIRE Talk with Shri Gauranga Darshan Prabhu was organized for the students of Classes VI-XII, on September 24, 2024.”
A soulful enlightening and interactive session was conducted at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on 24.9.24 by Sri Gauranga Darshan Das Prabhu, Dean of Bhaktivedanta Vidyapitha , ISKCON Govardhan ECO Village, Mumbai.
The session focused on the true nature of what we are and how to be the best version of yourself by focusing on our strengths using our intelligence.
The importance of surrendering yourself to God and imbibing the qualities of humility while successful, sharpening our intelligence through reading spiritual texts and self acceptance were addressed.
The session ended with Shri Gauranga Darshan Das Prabhu answering students' queries.

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar had the privilege of hosting a soulful musical session organized by SPICMACAY- Bhopal Chapter, on October 08, 2024. The renowned music maestro, Dhrupad vocalist Pt. Uday Bhawalkar Ji mesmerized the session with a range of Dhrupad ragas. The event was attended by the students and the teachers.
He not only enthralled the students by his performance but also educated them about the rich heritage of music and reinforced the significance of preserving traditional music and promoting cultural awareness. It was an engaging interactive session, Pandit Ji answered the queries of the students and encouraged them to absorb the Indian classical music as a legacy.

Girish Apte, an alumnus of SPS SN, batch 2014, visited the Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on October 08, 2024 and shared with our students the experiences of his successful journey from a PCB student to a research scholar of PhD in structural Biology from International Institute of molecular and cell Biology Warsaw, Poland. He has also worked in Serum Institute, Pune.
He guided the students of Class X, XI and XII Biology stream, from SPS SN, RN, and KE about career opportunities in the field of Biotechnology and other fields of applied Sciences in India and abroad. Students interacted with him and cleared their doubts.

An ASPIRE session on "Career Path in Commerce Through Emerging Trends in Data Science and AI; held on November 05, 2024, and led by Ms. Ankita Das (MSc in Data Analytics and HRM, Leeds University), was both inspiring and insightful. An alumna of SPS SN from the 2013-14 batch, Ms. Ankita has made her teachers and mentors proud with her accomplishments. She provided valuable insights into the various career paths available in commerce, especially those related to data science and AI.
Ms. Ankita encouraged students to build confidence and shared tips on enhancing their soft skills. She shared her own journey from being a shy speaker to becoming a remarkable orator, inspiring students to follow a similar path. She focused heavily on data analytics and AI, emphasizing how data represents the future, with AI furthering it by predicting trends. She encouraged students to explore data tools and online resources to build these in-demand skills.
Her guidance extended to facing challenges with resilience and maintaining a positive attitude in every situation. Ms. Ankita Das motivated students by offering practical knowledge that goes beyond textbooks, making this session a memorable and impactful experience for all.
Aspire Talk by Dr. Abhishek Kumar Srivastava

On November 04, 2023, Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar was graced by the presence of Dr. Abhishek Kumar Srivastava. He is Associate Professor of Physics at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, one of the leading astrophysicists, pursuing his research in understanding waves and transients in the Sun and similar stars. He is associated with India’s first solar space mission, Aditya-L1. He interacted with the students and teachers and enlightened the audience with the importance of schooling. Some key take aways from the session are as follows:
- In IIT, a good learner and a rote learner can easily be identified
- Students’ fundamentals should be strong to perform well in IIT.
- Original thinkers are promoted.
- Astrophysics is an emerging branch now and India is excelling in it.
- He talked about space debris, black hole, space plasma.
He answered all questions put up by the students. The session was quite engaging and a great learning experience for all IIT aspirants.
Aspire Talk by Mr. Tarun Kumar Pithore

Sagar Public School Saket Nagar organised an ASPIRE session for classes VI to XI by Mr Tarun Kumar Pithode on 20.02.23.
Mr Pithode is an IAS Official who is currently designated as MD Warehousing Corporation. Working in different capacities, as an IAS, he held the posts of assistant Collector, Ujjain; SDM, Dabra; CEO Zila Panchayat Khandwa; AMD, Urja Vikas Nigam. Mr Pithore has also been the Project Director of the State Wide Area Network; Director of, the Professional Examination Board; Director of Food and Civil Supplies. Being a multidimensional personality, he has authored four books: I’m Possible, Happiness: A new model of human behaviour, टूटते रिश्ते दरकते घर, The Battle Against Covid: Diary of a Bureaucrat.
The event began with a floural welcome to the distinguished guest. In his address to the students, Mr Pithore emphasised on the importance of having a goal and gave tips to achieve it. He motivated the students to follow their passion and work for the country and underprivileged people. He also emphasised on the need to inculcate good values among students. Overall, the session proved to be quite engaging and inspiring for the audience.
Aspire Talk by Mr. Vicky Roy
An Aspire session was conducted for the students in Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar with internationally renowned photographer Mr. Vicky Roy on April 08, 2023. He shared with the students his extraordinary journey from humble beginning to worldwide fame. He also shared with that how he gives back to the society through photography. He works with various NGOs, meets different people and shared their stories with the world. He gave a glimpse into the world of photography, how a photographer should have a unique perspective of the world. The general session was followed by a workshop on photography in which children were taught finer points of photography. The session was well appreciated by one and all.
Aspire Talk by Dr. Kiran Bedi
An invigorating aspire session was organized at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar on July 04, 2022. Dr. Kiran Bedi, (retd IPS and former Lt. Governor of Puducherry) addressed the students in an interactive session attended by a large students from other branches of Sagar Public School.
Dr. Bedi called upon the students to stay focused and pick up one idea as their goal. She also provided her insight on how change, choices and principles are the key for success. The principles of Raj Yog, Gyan Yog, Karma Yog and Bhakti Yog as per the teachings of Bhagwat Geeta, were highlighted by her. Respected Chairman Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal welcomed Dr. Kiran Bedi by presenting her a stole and memento. Principal. Ms Pankaj Sharma delivered the welcome address.
20 Meritorious students from Class XI, 2021-22 were presented cash awards by Dr. Bedi and Chairman sir. Vice Principal Ms. Shradha Kanungoo proposed a vote of thanks.

Under the aegis of Aspire, the higher secondary students of Sagar Public School were addressed by Mr. Praveen Rao, on August 10, 2022. He is a marketing expert at SAP, India and has worked with major tech companies including D&B, Microsoft and The Times of India. The talk focused on the increasing significance of technology in the world, and how children are playing a major role both knowingly and unknowingly. He apprised the audience with a list of opportunities which are being offered by the exponentially growing sector of data science, and how the students could approach and take these opportunities. Mr. Rao also addressed several technological careers which are not dominantly science based. Several useful resources for getting hands on experience as well as certification were mentioned. Overall, it was a gainful and interactive, an extremely fruitful and educational experience for the students.
