Class XI, B to G, with the help of the English department, put up six one-act plays on August 02, 2023 and August 04, 2023. The plays included tragedies – The Trial of Socrates and Julius Caesar, short stories – The Retrieved Reformation, While the Auto Waits and The Ransom of Red Chief and a novel – Great Expectations. As a foray into the experiential model of learning, performing the plays helped to increase knowledge, develop skills and strengthen values. The judgement criteria for the plays were as follows - theme, characterization, plot and dialogue. For all concerned, it was time and effort well spent.
