National level in National Children's Science Congress

Very Happy to share that Science project made by Giriraj Taunk, Class VII @ Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar is selected for National level in National Children's Science Congress after winning first position in VI-VIII group. He will be presenting his project at Ahemdabad for Nationals. Congratulations to Giriraj.

Inter School Micro Mini Football Fiesta 2022 @ SPS SN.

"Winning is not everything, but making the effort to win is."-Vince Lombardi Interschool Micromini Football Fiesta 2022 was organized by Sagar Public school Saket Nagar from December 20, 2022 to December 21, 2022. A total of 14 boys teams and 08 girls teams participated in the competition. Sagar Public School Saket Nagar Girl's Team was the winner with The Sanskar Valley School as the runner up. In the boys Category, Winner was Army Public School whereas Runner up was Sagar Public School Saket Nagar. The honorable guest for opening ceremony Ms. Kanchan Patel, National Player of Football and Netball, National and International player of Blindball, encouraged the players with her gracious presence.

SGFI State Judo Championship

Proud to share that the students from Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, participated in the SGFI State Judo Championship. And 2 students won the medals???? 1) Ujjwal Prasad Kumar, Class VIII won Gold medal 2) Gurkiran Sahani, Class X won gold medal Congratulations to all the Sagarites.

Annual Function 2022-23 - "Virtuous Assets"

Amidst glittering lights and a myriad of hues, the 20th Annual Function of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar was held on November 19, 2022, with the theme "Virtuous Assets." The students showcased performances venerating the seven virtues of life - faith, hope, prudence, charity, courage, justice, and temperance. The annual function was embellished as a provenance of cultural and artistic renditions. Virtuous dramas, exhilarating dances, and harmonious music amplified the joy of the occasion. Mr. Srijan Pal Singh, a renowned author, public speaker, education innovator and social entrepreneur graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his speech he urged the students to develop a love of reading and to take ownership of their lives with responsibility, right attitude, determination, inquisitiveness and passion without fear of failure. The Chairman's speech enlightened everyone in attendance. The annual report was presented by the Vice Principal Ms. Shraddha Kanungo. The program stood accomplished seeking the embrace of the virtues in each individual. The cogency of the event was remarkably directed through the cherished admiration of the dignitaries and the galore of spectators.

Junior Annual Function, 2022 "Expressing Exuberance"

The Sagarites of pre primary and primary were all set to teleport the audience into their dream world through their mesmerizing dances and skits on the first day of the Annual Function entitled “Expressing Exuberance”. The creative ideas of depiction had enabled the students to visualize a world without its physical limits and we all know that imagination is the beginning of creation. The sagarites of lower primary through their presentations depicted that through the qualities of intellect, wit and politeness, one can excel in life. Students took the audience on a remarkable journey to the enchanting and mysterious Arabian kingdom. In the program “Majestic Master” the central idea was to awaken the inherent goodness of our inner self, uplifting the self, thereby illuminating the world. The program concluded with the power pack presentation with loud and clear message that determination is nothing without dedication and hard work.

"The gift of blood is a gift to someone's life".

Raising awareness of blood donation is the need of the hour and keeping that in mind students of Class VII A held an assembly on October 21, 2022. The informative presentation of the skit "Someone Special" highlighted essential facts related to blood donation, types of blood group, minimum age of blood donation for both the donors and the recipients. The assembly concluded with the Principal Ms. Pankaj Sharma motivating students to spread the word on the benefits of blood donation for the society at large.

Sagarites of Class II C, presented morning assembly on the topic - “Mistakes are the proof that you are trying”

When you make a mistake, there are only three things you should ever do about it - admit it, learn from it and don’t repeat it. Inspired by this quote , Sagarites of Class II C, presented a well coordinated assembly on the topic - “Mistakes are the proof that you are trying” on September 24, 2022 The objective of the assembly was “It’s not the mistakes that matters, its how you deal with it, what you learn from it and how you apply that lesson to your life.” Students depicted a real life classroom act, which turned out so good that has made difference in their life too. The presentation comprised of - thought of the day, Quiz, News headlines, Musical and dance performance. The platform which was provided to young minds, boosted their confidence towards public speaking and imbibed a feeling of team spirit in their nascent minds.

The students of Class II B presented morning assembly on the topic "BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU WILL"

Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. The students of Class II B presented morning assembly on the topic "BELIEVE YOU CAN AND YOU WILL" on September 23, 2022. A skit depicting if a person believes in himself and his abilities he /she can achieve success in his/her life. The students performed a mesmerizing dance and song. The objective of the assembly was to develop confidence and faith in them and their abilities by accepting their failures and keeping positive attitude.

Students of Narmada House Class V, presented a morning assembly on the topic " A stitch in time saves nine"

"A stitch in time saves nine" Addressing to your needs based on their priorities, could help you become successful in future and save you from landing into bigger problems. Students of Narmada House ( Class V), presented a morning assembly on the topic " A stitch in time saves nine", on September 21,2022. A skit depicting how a merchant who pays no heed to his immediate need ,faces problems in the near future. The objective of the assembly was to develop the sense of alertness and the ability to pay attention to even seemingly less important things in our life which later on turns into bigger troubles.

GRANDPARENTS' DAY CELEBRATION @ SPS-SN

Grandparents are a little bit parents, a little bit teachers and a little bit best friends. Celebrating 'Grandparents Day' gives an opportunity to treasure the wonderful bond, honour the grandparents for the sacrifices they make for their family and to spend quality time together. Grandparents Day was celebrated at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, on September 14, 2022. The students presented wonderful dances, skit and a song especially composed for the day that gave a feeling to the grandparents of being loved and wanted. Many exciting games were conducted which gave life to the celebration. The celebration of Grandparents Day was a heart touching experience for everyone.

Indian Classical Dance Competition was organized @ SPS SN.

Indian culture is considered very rich and varied. It includes performing arts of various Indian classical dance forms as well. These dance forms help us ease tension and stress, improve mood and promote relaxation. It is also a mode of expression of inner feelings , helping to develop self belief and self confidence. Indian Classical Dance Competition was organized in Sagar Public School Saket Nagar on September 09, 2022, Wednesday. Children gave a vibrant and enthralling performance in Kathak and Bharatnatyam dance forms. They showcased Ganesh Vandana, Bhajan, Thumari, Tarana and Tillana.

An "English Poem Recitation" competition was conducted @ SPS SN.

"POETRY IS THE RHYTHMICAL CREATION OF BEAUTY IN WORDS."
With the above thought, Sagarites of Class I and II participated in the "English Poem Recitation Competition" conducted on September 07, 2022. The children were well prepared with properties and charts. The judges were impressed seeing the enthusiasm, preparedness and confidence of the students. The participants presented their poems well with correct pronunciation and gestures. The messages delivered through the poems were loud and clear.
