Family Forte 2025-26

Family Forte was a joyful and meaningful parent-child engagement initiative for the Pre-primary learners, creating opportunities to bond, learn, and grow together. This event aimed to introduce parents to simple yet effective alternatives which promote holistic development through play and interaction.\r\nThe event revolved around the theme “Engage, Explore, Evolve”, encouraging children and parents to actively participate in hands-on activities that stimulate the mind and body while strengthening their emotional connection. A variety of thoughtfully curated activity corners were set up to cater to different developmental domains like brain gym corner, Puzzle Corner which had challenging and enjoyable puzzles that promoted problem-solving, logical thinking, and patience, GK Corner to spark curiosity and awareness about the world around them, literary corner to nurture language skills and imagination, sports corner designed to build stamina, teamwork, aim, precision, goal-setting, agility, balance, coordination, motor skills and body control. Art Corner allowed children to express their imagination, memory corner helped to strengthen recall, concentration, and attention span.\r\nParents actively participated alongside their children, making learning a shared and enjoyable experience.

Sagar Group of Institutions Silver Jubilee Celebrations by Dr. Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister, MP

Sagar Group recently celebrated a momentous double milestone the Silver Jubilee (25 Years of Excellence) of the Sagar Group of Institutions and the Foundation Ceremony of the new Sagar Public School, Misrod (International Curriculum). The occasion was graced by the Honourable Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, who attended as the Chief Guest, along with Shri Rameshwar Sharma, MLA from the Huzur Assembly Constituency. The proceedings commenced with a soulful garland offering to Maa Saraswati, followed by a project exhibition that showcased the technical innovation and creative talent of students from SISTec and SPS. Adding to the spirit of the day, SPS students presented a stirring dance performance to Vande Mataram, filling the venue with patriotic fervour. A special AV presentation was then screened, taking the audience through the 25-year journey of the institution — from its inception to its emergence as a leader in education. In his welcome address, Founder and Chairman Shri Sudhir Kumar Agrawal emphasised the group’s mission to nurture globally competent citizens while keeping them rooted in Indian values. With a dedicated workforce of over 10,000 and a student community exceeding 25,000, the Sagar Group remains committed to building a stronger tomorrow for India. A key highlight of the event was the felicitation ceremony, where Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav honoured staff members for their outstanding and long-term service to the group and the meritorious students of class X and XII Board Examination 2025. This was followed by the formal foundation ceremony for the upcoming SPS Misrod (International Curriculum), marking a significant step towards expanding into global education standards. In his address, Dr. Mohan Yadav applauded the students for their remarkable academic achievements and excellent board results. He also appreciated Shri Sudhir Agrawal’s visionary initiative in establishing the school in 2001, acknowledging the Sagar Group’s continued contribution to education and livelihood generation. As a gesture of gratitude, the dignitaries were presented with special mementoes handcrafted by students. The event concluded with a melodious Ram Dhun by Sagar Agrawal, followed by the Vote of Thanks, which expressed appreciation to the dignitaries, students, and the entire Sagar family for their unwavering support over the past two and a half decades.

Annual Sports Day, 2025-26

“Sports inspire us to compete, winning over losing is much sweeter. We play because we love the game, and life without sports would not be the same.” \r\nWith this spirited thought, Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great zeal enthusiasm, on January 29, 2026 at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar. The exhilarating Sports Day was organized by the Physical Education Department, the event reflected energy, discipline, and the true spirit of sportsmanship among students.\r\nThe programme began with a grand opening ceremony that included the Sports Pledge, Sports Flag Hoisting. Students, dressed smartly in their respective house uniforms, filled the ground with vibrant colors. The Honorable Principal addressed the gathering and inspired the students by highlighting the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and physical fitness.\r\nOne of the most memorable moments of the day was the Torch Relay led by students who had represented the school at National-level sports events in various games. This was followed by an impressive mass demonstration by students of Classes III, IV, and V. During track and field events, students displayed remarkable talent and determination in races, relays, and field activities, while the cheering from the sidelines reflected strong encouragement and unity.\r\nAlongside this, the Junior Sports Day was conducted where the young learners from Nursery to Class III participated joyfully in events such as caboose races, flipper races, sprint races, hurdle races, relays, and field events, each designed to build confidence and sportsmanship at an early age. Medal ceremonies were held after the respective events to honour the efforts and achievements of the young athletes.\r\nThe celebration reached its crowning moment with the presentation of awards to outstanding performers. 77th Republic Day Celebration

Ambedkar\r\nSagar Public School, Saket Nagar celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and respect, on January 26, 2026. The event commenced with the unfurling of the national flag, followed by the National Anthem. Students delivered thoughtful speeches in English and Hindi, reflecting on the importance of the Constitution, while the Ganga, Kaveri, Narmada, and Yamuna Houses presented a series of patriotic songs. The ceremony included insightful addresses by Respected Principal madam and Dubey Sir, who spoke about the role of youth in nation-building.\r\nA key part of the program was the felicitation of the students of Class X, 2024-25, who scored a perfect 100. Additionally, Class IV employees who completed 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service were also honored, recognizing their dedication. The celebration concluded with an energetic patriotic dance and the singing of the National Song, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and dedication to the country.

Parent Teacher Meeting IV

“The home and school collaboration is the cornerstone of a child's educational foundation.”\r\nSagar Public School, Saket Nagar hosted the Fourth Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM-IV) for the academic session 2025-26 on Saturday, January 10, 2026.\r\nThe meeting was organized for the parents of students from Nursery to class IX and for class XI as well. \r\nThe primary purpose of the meeting was to establish a clear line of communication, allowing parents and educators to review the students’ academic progress, involvement in co-scholastic activities, and overall development.\r\nWe observed an excellent turnout, which highlights the parents' commitment to their child’s learning journey. Teachers offered specific, constructive feedback regarding individual strengths and potential areas for growth, outlining effective strategies for upcoming assessments. The meeting also allowed parents to provide valuable inputs that will further enhance our school environment.\r\nThe PTM coincided with the annual exhibition "Craftartica," showcasing students' creativity and artistic skills. Farewell to Class XII, 2025-26

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, hosted its Alumni Meet on December 29, bringing together former students from diverse batches. Inter School Micro Mini Football Fiesta

The 2-day Inter-School Micro Mini Football Fiesta 2025-26 kicked off on December 23, 2025 at Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, with thrilling matches between 14 schools from Bhopal. The initial matches set the tone for an exciting tournament. In the Girls' category, SPS, Katara Extension, SPS, Saket Nagar, Billabong High, and SPS, Dwarka Dham made it to the quarterfinals, while in the Boys' category, SPS, Rohit Nagar, SPS, Saket Nagar, Billabong High, and SPS, Dwarka Dham advanced.\r\nThe quarterfinals saw intense action, with SPS, Saket Nagar and Billabong High International School making it to the semis in both categories. The finals were equally thrilling, with Billabong High International School winning the Boys' title with a 2-1 victory over SPS, Saket Nagar, and SPS, Saket Nagar clinching the Girls' title, beating SPS, Katara Extension 5-0.

Visit to Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha

As part of an educational trip, students of Class XI Humanities of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, visited the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha on December 22, 2025, Monday. The visit aimed to provide a first-hand understanding of the state's legislative processes and historical context.\r\nDuring the visit, students explored the gallery, gathering information on the state's legislative journey since 1956. \r\nThey also observed the Assembly Hall, gaining insight into the functioning of the state's legislative body.\r\nThe visit provided students with a practical perspective on governance and India's democratic processes, enriching their understanding of the state's political evolution.

Class Picnic to Kamla Nehru Park BHEL

The students of Classes Nur - II went on a fun-filled class picnic to Kamla Nehru Park, BHEL. The day began with an exciting toy train ride, where children happily enjoyed the journey with their friends and teachers.\r\nAt the park, children had a wonderful time in the play zone. They danced to lively music, played games, laughed, and shared joyful moments together. The park was full of beautiful sights, green trees, colourful flowers, and open spaces that made the visit very pleasant.\r\nThe picnic was a day full of fun and happiness. The children returned with smiling faces and sweet memories that they will always cherish.

An Educational trip to MP Tribal Museum and Manav Sangrahalaya

An educational trip to Manav Sanghralaya and MP Tribal Museum was organised for the students of Classes IX-X, on December 20, 2025.\r\nStudents of Class X visited Manav Sangrahalaya, a museum showcasing human evolution and culture. They were engaged in interactive exhibits, learning about human history, and exploring the museum's collections Whereas Class IX Students witnessed Tribal Museum, a repository of tribal artifacts and art , learning about the traditions, customs, and ways of life of various tribal communities.\r\nIt was a memorable experience, providing students with a unique opportunity to learn beyond the classroom.
