Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar concluded its Annual Cultural Fiesta series on November 15, 2025, with the Senior Annual Function, 'The Light Within'. The event showcased the talents of 800 students from Classes V-XI through a vibrant mix of music, dance, and drama performances, highlighting wisdom, humility, and excellence. Chief Guest Dr. Anuradha Balaram commended the students' impressive performances and the school's nurturing environment. The school also felicitated 41 meritorious Class X students with ₹24,00,000 cash awards.The event drew a large turnout, with around 1,600 parents and 200 staff members in attendance, celebrating the school's commitment to shaping young minds with values, purpose, and social responsibility.

he Annual Cultural Fiesta of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, began with the Pre-primary Annual Function, followed by the Junior Annual Function, “Harmony: The Essence of Life,” on November 14, 2025. The event featured vibrant performances by young students, celebrating unity, nature, emotions, and cultural diversity. The event featured dances, tales of kindness, the cosmic story of Samudra Manthan, and an uplifting finale emphasizing togetherness and peace. The celebration was graced by the esteemed chief guest, Professor Sanjeev Singh from the School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal, a distinguished educator and researcher noted for his work in environmental planning, vernacular architecture, and sustainability. His inspiring presence motivated all attendees. The occasion also celebrated the achievements of meritorious students with scholarships worth ₹4,80,000 awarded to high-performing students, recognizing their dedication and excellence. The event was a joyful testament to harmony, childhood spirit, and academic achievement at Sagar Public School.

Pre-primary Annual Function 2025

The Pre-Primary section of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, celebrated its Annual Day with great enthusiasm on October 16, 2025, with the theme "Colours of Joy". The event featured a range of performances, including a delightful dance by Nursery students, "Bits of Magic" with paper boats and kites, and "Seeds of Goodness" highlighting core values. The "Different Lights, Same Happiness" segment took the audience on a journey across festivals like Diwali, Loi Krathong, and Hanukkah. The celebration concluded with "The Sounds of Life", a poignant performance that reminded everyone of life's precious sounds. Dr. Rishi Malik, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry, R K D F Medical College Hospital and Research Centre, Bhopal, graced the occasion as Chief Guest. The event concluded with a heart-warming message, emphasizing the importance of every child as a light of hope, every smile as a dream, and every day as a celebration of learning and love.

Parent Teacher Meeting III

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar successfully hosted the 3rd Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM-III), bringing together parents and teachers to discuss student progress on October 04, 2025. Highlights of the PTM were:\r\nReview of academic performance and progress\r\nSetting goals and targets for improvement\r\nStrategies for supporting students' growth and development\r\nOpen discussion with parents and their feedback.\r\nParents appreciated the open discussion, feeling more connected to their child's education. Some parents shared their concerns and received valuable guidance on how to support their child's growth. Overall, the meeting was a huge success, fostering a stronger partnership between parents and teachers to ensure students' success.

Dussehra Celebration

पावन पर्व विजयदशमी का सबको संदेश सुनाता है, धर्म जीतता है अधर्म से सत्य असत्य को हराता है।"\r\nदिनांक 27. 9.25 को सागर पब्लिक स्कूल, साकेत नगर में विजयादशमी का उत्सव हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। इसमें कक्षा तीन के छात्र-छात्राओं ने बढ़-चढ़कर हिस्सा लिया। इस कार्यक्रम में राम जन्म, चारों भाइयों की गुरुकुल में शिक्षा, सीता स्वयंवर, राम वन गमन एवं राम-रावण युद्ध का नाट्य रूपांतरण प्रस्तुत किया । छात्र-छात्राओं ने राम, लक्ष्मण, सीता, हनुमान एवं रावण के चरित्रों का जीवंत एवं सुंदर अभिनय प्रस्तुत किया ।\r\nइस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य समाज को यह संदेश देना है कि असत्य , अहंकार, और अधर्म चाहे कितना भी बलवान क्यों ना हो अंततः सत्य, विनम्रता और धर्म की ही विजय होती है।\r\nयह कार्यक्रम छात्रों को श्री राम के आदर्शों को जीवन में अपनाने ,मन को निर्मल रखने, सदा सत्य बोलने तथा बड़ों का आदर करने की प्रेरणा देता है।

Grandparents Day Celebration

The warmth of love and the joy of togetherness filled the air of Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar as the tiny Sagarites celebrated Grandparents’ Day on September 3, 2025, with great enthusiasm. The day was dedicated to honouring the guiding lights of our families—the grandparents, whose wisdom, affection and values shape our lives.\r\nThe celebration began with a heartfelt welcome, followed by cultural performances like Ganesh Vandana, Folk dance by the students. Children exhibited their love and respect through song and expressions that beautifully highlighted the role of grandparents in nurturing the families. Children also showcased the divine values and life lessons they are learning in the school by chanting Bhagwad Gita shlokas. These performances brought smiles, laughter, and even tears of joy to the audience.\r\nTo add to the joy, some fun games were organized for grandparents, making the day lively and memorable.

Solo Classical Dance Competition

In the rhythm of Indian classical dance lies the heartbeat of tradition and the poetry of timeless culture."\r\nThe Solo Indian Classical Dance Competition was held at SPS SN on August, 30 2025 with great enthusiasm and elegance. The event provided a vibrant platform for students to showcase their talent in the rich and diverse traditions of Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Odissi.\r\nEach participant performed with grace and devotion, beautifully blending rhythm, expressions, and storytelling. The competition not only highlighted the technical precision and expressive abhinaya of the dancers but also reflected their deep respect for India’s cultural heritage.\r\nThe audience was spellbound as students presented soulful performances that brought alive stories from epics, mythologies, and devotional themes. The judges Ms. Aditi Bangre and Ms. Priyanshi Kataria appreciated the confidence, discipline, and dedication of the participants, making it a truly memorable event. The Headmistress Ms. Vineeta Chauhan appreciated the participants and motivated them for their future performances as —dance is not just to impress, but to inspire.

National Sports Day Celebration

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar, commemorated National Sports Day on August 29, 2025, honoring the legendary Major Dhyan Chand Ji. The event featured a dance drama, motivational speeches, and the distribution of sports scholarships and appreciation letters to outstanding sportspersons. Respected Dubey Sir and Principal Madam congratulated the awardees, emphasizing the values of teamwork, resilience, and leadership. The celebration inspired students to pursue excellence in sports and carry forward Major Dhyan Chand Ji's legacy.

Independence Day Celebration

भोपाल। सागर पब्लिक स्कूल, साकेत नगर में 15 अगस्त को स्वतंत्रता दिवस ध्वजारोहण और राष्ट्रीय गान के साथ उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया गया। ध्वजारोहण चेयरमैन श्री सुधीर कुमार अग्रवाल के कर कमलों द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों में देशभक्ति की भावना, राष्ट्रीय एकता, अनुशासन और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा का संचार करना था। प्राचार्य महोदया और एच.आर. डायरेक्टर श्री के.के. दुबे के प्रेरणादायी भाषणों ने छात्रों को राष्ट्रप्रेम और कर्तव्यनिष्ठा का संदेश दिया। कक्षा IX-X के छात्रों ने ओजपूर्ण भाषण प्रस्तुत किए। कक्षा III-V के विद्यार्थियों ने देशभक्ति गीत, कक्षा छठवीं से आठवीं के छात्रों ने समूह नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया। कक्षा ग्यारहवीं और बारहवीं के विद्यार्थियों ने ‘बाल गंगाधर तिलक’ पर आधारित नाटक प्रस्तुत कर सभी को भावविभोर कर दिया। कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रीय गीत और भारत माता की जय के जयघोष के साथ हुआ।विद्यार्थियों में भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के नायकों के प्रति सम्मान, देश के प्रति गर्व, और सामाजिक जिम्मेदारी की भावना प्रबल हुई। साथ ही, टीम वर्क, आत्मविश्वास और सांस्कृतिक अभिव्यक्ति की क्षमता में भी वृद्धि हुई।

Janmashtami Celebration

Students of class Class KG II -G enthusiastically celebrated Janmashtami in the morning assembly held on August 14, 2025 on the topic Janmashtami. Students depicted a few scenes of Sandipani Ashram where Lord Krishna got his education and spent his childhood days. Children learnt moral values like discipline, true friendship, respect for food, elders, teachers, sharing- caring, obedience etc from the life of Lord Krishna.\r\nChildren also performed a wonderful dance with great zeal. \r\nThe Assembly concluded with Aarti and bhajans. The students also decorated flute and matki which symbolize the festival.

Parent Teacher Meeting - II, 2025-26

13th National Curo Quiz 2025

Sagar Public School, Saket Nagar conducted the13th National CURO Quiz on the 1st of August 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of 36 teams from reputed schools including 14 teams from cities like Gwalior, Indore, Varanasi, Hisar, Patna, Amritsar and Jaipur, showcasing a vibrant display of knowledge, critical thinking, and presence of mind.\r\nThe quiz was conducted in multiple rounds. The first stage was of Online Round for outstation teams from where three teams qualified for the final stage joining the Finalists from Bhopal. Total seven teams competed for the coveted CURO TROPHY. It was conducted by the talented Quizmaster, Mr. Ajay Poonia.
